Voxa is an Android app for anonymous text and voice messaging. With smart voice-masking technology, users can send disguised voice notes while maintaining full privacy. Under the hood, Voxa is powered by a modern full-stack architecture. The frontend is built with React Native, while the backend uses Express.js with Node.js for routing, audio processing, and API orchestration. Media files are handled through a custom audio-processing pipeline and stored/uploaded via Cloudinary, while real-time updates and message delivery are powered by WebSockets (Socket.IO). Data persistence is managed with MongoDB, and features like authentication, notifications, and file management are implemented using lightweight, scalable infrastructure.
