Voxa is an anonymous text and voice messaging platform that lets users send disguised voice notes using smart voice-masking technology. Incoming audio is processed—altering pitch, tone, and clarity—before being streamed or saved, ensuring complete anonymity while maintaining natural sound quality.
Under the hood, Voxa is powered by a modern full-stack architecture. The frontend is built with React , while the backend uses Express.js with Node.js for routing, audio processing, and API orchestration. Media files are handled through a custom audio-processing pipeline and stored/uploaded via Cloudinary, while real-time updates and message delivery are powered by WebSockets (Socket.IO). Data persistence is managed with MongoDB, and features like authentication, notifications, and file management are implemented using lightweight, scalable infrastructure. Voxa combines clean design, smart engineering, and strong privacy principles to enable safe, anonymous communication.Technologies
